You’ve probably seen this picture.

A big mother, a prominent father and of course a big child. This child grows up and becomes a big person. Nowadays size XXL is not big anymore, it’s just regular. Lately, I’ve seen size 4XL in a store.

How is it possible to stay slim and to keep female curves at the same time?

I ware German size 34; my weight is 56 kg. Maybe you’ve seen my videos. My good mood partially depends on my reflection in the mirror, and most of the time I am in a good mood.

What is it what I do? Here it is:

First of all, I do watch the calories. I know that having my height and size I would need a bit more than 2000 calories a day if I am active and do sports and about 1800 calories if I do nothing unusual. The magic lies in consuming just a little bit less than you need.

Include one banana to your main meal every day. Bananas having minimal calories give you a feeling of being full.

Drink water or green tea as much as possible. Water would help to digest heavy food like meat. Green tea is one of the healthiest beverages at all. Green Tea is full of antioxidants and nutrients as well as polyphenols like flavonoids and catechins. Green tea functions as a powerful antioxidant.
Stop drinking anything that contains sugar. No Coke anymore.

The hormone balance is not that perfect anymore if you are over 50. It becomes even worse if your doctor prescribes you estrogen. Even young women taking estrogen build a belly fat very fast. Our body, getting extra estrogen wants to get prepared to have a baby and stores some energy in our belly.

Take it in the late evening, because sometimes it may make you feel tired. Do it every day and increase the dosage if necessary.

Buy things you don’t like.

Imagine you are in front of a shelf full of sweeties, chocolate, and bonbons.

Keep in mind, if you don’t have it – you don’t eat it.

Be strong and pass by the shelf without buying anything. If you have to, try dark chocolate. It doesn’t taste so very sweet therefor you wouldn’t eat much of it. Just get a little bit of something, what you could eat, but it doesn’t taste so good, that you’d eat a whole bunch of it.
In this case, I get myself “After eight.” I don’t like it at all. After having one peace I know, that I’ve got enough sugar in my system.

Number 6.

Reduce your portions. Eat whatever you want to eat. Just leave 1/4th of the food on the plate. For perfect homemakers: you don’t need to throw away your food. Store it in the fridge for later. Maybe even for the next day. Don’t worry. Nothing is more important than your well being. So if you throw away some food, it will pay off. You will become healthier and prettier, therefore – happier.

There is something that has been my trick throughout my whole life. I never eat after 6 o’clock pm. That means I have 4-5 hours free of food before I go to bed. As we all know, the digesting system slows down at night.

If you don’t eat in the evening, the digesting system will use the resources, which are already there to keep your system going. It is the exact thing when they say we could lose weight while sleeping. It works all the time. Try it for a week, and you’ll be amazed to see your new waistline.

Yes, for some it will be not a good one. But we do have to do sports. It is crucial for losing weight. You have to spend extra energy, which has been saved in your body. And it is fat. To lose fat you have to spend energy. So, if you are not building a house right now or moving to another apartment, having physical work to do, pull yourself together and do some sports. One hour a day will do the trick.

As you maybe know, I’m am a bit introvert. That means I hate crowded fitness centers. I have several DVDs at home and do my exercises nearly every day.

There is so much to read how to do sports right. I stick to the general rule.

To lose overall weight, I do cardio. To form and keep inform my body I push the weights, as the fitness gurus say :).

Please don’t overdo it with weights. If you don’t want to become a fitness model, please stick to 10 pounds rule. Otherwise, you may gain muscle mass and look even bigger than you are now. 10 pounds in each hand must be enough.

There is something special that I do from time to time. On special occasions, if I want to look my best I stay away from food for about 14-16 hours a day. Every time I do it, I get such a beautiful waistline. Just wonderful.
Don’t get scared by the figure. Nighttime is included.
Just start counting from 6 o’clock pm till 8 o’clock a.m. Here you are. 14 hours already. Then you skip breakfast. This method is the best. You may see the results on the second day already. To see the results so quickly is the best motivation ever!

Get used to eating fresh tomatoes, paprika, and lettuce. These vegetables have nearly no calories, contain a lot of water and help to speed up your digesting system.
